Athletes must meet
BCSS Eligiblity requirements, and qualify through their local Area Track and Field Meet, and the Island Zone Track and Field Championship.
The Vancouver Island Zone Representative to BCSS is Angela McLeish of St Andrews
Atthe conclusion of the Vancouver Island Championships, the top 3 finishers in each event will qualify for the BCSS Championships at Swanguard Stadium on Friday, June 3 & Sat,June 4 2011 . Go to www.bcsscctfa.bc.ca

Athletes qualify for the BC High School Championships by finishing in the top three at the Island
Championships. An athlete who finishes 4th or 5th at the Island Championships but has exceeded the Open Zone performance standard can apply to the BC High School meet director. See the website for the open zone standards. Athletes must pay the $10 entry fee for each open zone entry. This fee is non- refundable.
Coaches of successfulathletes/teams will need to meet with Keith Butler below the Press Box
above the main stadium at the end of this meet.Entry fees for athletes andrelay teams are due at this time. Costs are $15.00 per athlete and $35.00 per relay team. Make cheques payable to BCSSCCTFA.
Athletes who qualify will need to notify their coaches whether or not they are able to attend this
meet. Alternates may be named to the zone team in place of top qualifiers who are not able to attend.
