Badminton Play-date Structure:
- 3 play-dates based on 3 available Tuesdays in April prior to the first Grade Level Tournament
- Arrange extra play-dates as desired
- 10 teams have been divided into 2 somewhat “geographically-selected” pools of 4-6 schools (RED and WHITE)

Guidelines for Play
- Aim to start at 3:45 and end play around 5:00pm
- HOSTS, please have shuttles as well as rackets on hand for visitors
- VISITORS, please try to attend with a racket for every player, as well as a sleeve of shuttles for warm-up
- In exhibition play, single games to 21 should suffice
- Having an adult from the HOST school arranging match-ups and court use will help the players maximize court time and enjoyment
- It is not necessary to record or report game results, except for personal interest

GRADE 6 @ PCS : Wednesday April 27th, 2011@ 3:30
GRADE 7 @ SMUS: Tuesday May 3rd, 2011 @ 3:30
GRADE 8 @ SMUS : Wednesday May 4th, 2011@ 3:30
Deadlines for Player Entries:
Grade 6- Thursday April 21st at 3:30
Grade 7- Friday April 29th, 3:30
Grade 8- Friday April 29th 3:30
Submit entries ‘officially’ using the forms below, fax to 250 479 3685. you must specify the grade, category, and gender of your players
Structure:
- 1 Tournament day for each Middle School Grade (3:30pm start)
- Separate draws for: Boys Singles, Boys Doubles, Girls Singles, Girls Doubles
- School representatives are responsible to submit Player Entry Form with players and alternates
- A player may enter ONE division only
- Schools may enter 2 players/teams in each draw (ie. an A and a B player/team)
- Matches are best 2 of 3, games to 11 points (cap at 14 points)
- Each player/team is guaranteed 2 matches (modified double-elimination with Consolation draw)
- Ribbons for 1st through 4th place, plus a ribbon for the Consolation Draw winner
