DRESS

• MOUTHGUARDS ARE MANDATORY FOR ALL PLAYERS. NO MOUTHGUARD = NO PLAY
• Jerseys to be tucked in
• Jersey sleeves to be hemmed (if cut off)
• T-shirts worn underneath jerseys must not show below sleeve level
• “Boxers” or any other loose underwear must not show below shorts level
• Tape or legal soft helmets may be used to cover the ears/head. Loose fitting headbands, toques or bandanas may not be worn
• No jewelry of any kind may be worn
• Headgear and shoulder protection must have been approved by the IRB

IMAGE OF THE GAME
The recent trends of the game focus particularly on ”positive image” and safety. Of particular note “profanity will not be tolerated in any form”.

FIELD
The home team is responsible for the proper cutting and marking of the field, and must provide adequate flags (minimum of 4 corner flags) and the padding of any posts or possible dangerous objects close to the pitch.

GAME TIME

• All games will start at 3:45pm or earlier if possible. Finish as close to 5pm or as soon after as possible.
• Team coaches must liase with each other and commissioner regarding any changes in game time or any date changes.
• Please attempt to keep school missed to a minimum.

Grade 7/8 under 155 lbs Schedule of Friendly games

• Games are 7-aside and are 2 x 10 minute halves where two games per team are played and 3 x 10 minute periods where only one game is played.
• Unlimited substitutions can be made in all games.
• Games to be played on 1/2 size rugby/soccer field, approx. 40m across x 60m long.
• All games will start at 3:45 pm.

April 5th:
Richard Cook of Bayside (rcook@sd63.bc.ca), is willing to host games on Thurs Apr 5 for Grade 7/8 less than 155lbs, as well as Girls Grade 7/8 less than 155lbs. Please contact Richard directly.

April 12th:
starting by 3:45pm with everyone playing 2 X 20 minute (10 minute halves) games

– Royal Oak with its 2 teams will play at SMUS against one of the two SMUS teams.
– GNS and the second SMUS team will play at Monterey.
– Gordon Head and Spencer will play at Colquitz. Thanks to Colquitz for offering to host..

April 19th:
SMUS and Spencer will host but there is a probable need for another school. 

April 26th:
At Royal Oak – SMUS, Rockheights and Colquitz (though Colquitz may not be able to attend)
At Cedar Hill – Monterey and GNS
At Gordon Head – Spencer and SMUS 

John Lyall of Spencer (jlyll@sd62.bc.ca) is willing to host Boys Garde 7/8 less than 155lbs. Please contact John directly.

April 26:
Richard Marriot of Royal Oak  (marriottr@gmail.com) is willing to host Boys Grade 7/8 less than 155lbs. Please contact Richard directly.

May 3rd:
At GNS – SMUS, Gordon Head, Royal Oak
At Spencer – Monterey and SMU 
At Gordon Head – Spencer and SMUS  

If you are interested in hosting on any other dates please contact Bruce asap. Coaches may then contact those host schools to confirm tht they wish to join in and play.
