Operations of LVISSAA and LIMSSA are within the boundaries of School Districts 61, 62 and 63 in the Province of British Columbia, in order to encourage participation in inter-scholastic athletics, promoting commitment, fundamental skill development and sportsmanship.

LVISSAA is an organization of volunteers from 20 schools in the Greater Victoria area, that offers extracurricular competition in selected sports for Girls and Boys grade 9 – 12. Teams participate in leagues that qualify teams for the Island Zone and BC Championships, and in Recreational “B” Leagues.

LIMSSA is an organization of volunteers from 30 schools in the Greater Victoria area that offers extracurricular participation in selected sports for Girls and Boys in grade 6 – 8. Schools may choose to enter recreational tournaments and/or competitive leagues.
